BAB is Before-After-Bridge.
PAS is Problem-Agitate-Solution.
Let's take a look at the two frameworks.
Before-After-Bridge Copywriting Framework
Show what's in it for them and they'll take action.
BAB (Before-After-Bridge) is a great framework for doing exactly that.
First, identify the before state, which is your prospect's current situation.
Next, paint a picture of what your prospect will get if they take the action you recommend.
Finally, provide a bridge between the before and after states and explain how they can get there.
Let me show you how BAB works with my digital products:
Example 1: 100 Simple Steps to Build Your Personal Brand on LinkedIn

Now, PAS.
Problem-Agitate-Solution Copywriting Framework
Problem: You want to write copy that sells, but you don't know how.
Agitate: Most people think that good copywriting is all about being clever or funny. But in reality, the best copywriters are those who can identify and articulate their customers' problems.
Solution: The Problem-Agitate-Solution (PAS) formula is a simple, three-step process that you can use to write copy that sells.
PAS works like this:
First, you identify the problem your product or service solves.
Next, you agitate the pain points associated with that problem.
Finally, you offer a solution in the form of your product or service.
Let's say you're selling a weight loss program.
The problem might be that your customer is overweight and wants to lose weight.
The pain points might be that they feel self-conscious about their appearance, they don't have the energy to do things they enjoy, and they're at risk for health problems like diabetes.
The solution is your weight loss program, which will help them lose weight, feel better about themselves, and improve their overall health.
3 more examples:
Example 1:
Problem: You want to drink more water each day, but it's hard to stick with plain water.
Agitate: Most people know that drinking more water is good for them, but it can be hard to stick with this habit if you're not in love with the taste of tap or bottled water.
Solution: XYZ sparkling water is a delicious and healthy way to help you stay hydrated. With no calories, no sweeteners, and no artificial flavors, XYZ is a refreshing alternative to sugary drinks or plain water.
Example 2:
Problem: You're struggling to come up with ideas for your next LinkedIn post.
Agitate: It can be frustrating when you sit down to write and the ideas just don't come. You know you have something valuable to say, but getting the words out seems impossible.
Solution: Hire a copywriter! A professional writer can help you capture your unique voice and communicate your message clearly and effectively. With a little help, you'll be churning out great blog content in no time.
Example 3:
Problem: You want to increase website conversions, but don't know how.
Agitate: Most marketers settle for a 2-3% conversion rate, which leaves a lot of money on the table. Most of your marketing efforts end up wasted.
Solution: We get it, because that was us until we discovered the ABC Plugin. By adding the ABC Plugin to your website, you can increase conversions by up to 15%. That means more leads and sales for your business.
